Subject: I'm Alive (Totoy Pinoy).. A Hidden Gem
From: Mike Taylor, taylormademusic@yahoo.com

Hi...

Hey hey... its Spring... and minus-6c..... arghhhhhh.. whats happening to the World weather.. its crazy.
BUT... here is something that really warmed me up..
Maybe its just me, but its one of those dances where the music and the steps just hits you right between the eyes and gives you that cosy but vibrant feel all over your body.
It truly is a 'hidden gem' as having been Choreographed in 2006 and credited to Totoy Pinoy (there are a number of video's which say 'unknown' as a Choreographer credit) and just danced in selected clubs and gatherings.
Its easy enough for experienced Beginners and above.

SUBJECT: WHAT I DID IN HOLLAND

Hi everybody,

DANCE-EVENTS
Some nice dance-events are or are going to be organised here in Holland. I mention the Western Experience in Den Bosch and Ivonne Verhagens first “Anything Goes”in Berlicum. Both were great as I‘ve heard and I think people are doing great jobs by organising such events and keeping line dancing alive!

In my area (place called Ochten) next Saturday will be the first edition of a couple events called “Hollandse Nieuwe” . Organisers try to give Dutch choreographers the possibility to teach their newest dance. Invited choreographers are Ria Vos, Francien Sittrop and Sebastiaan Holtland. After the workshops there will be enough time to dance all our favourites. I’m looking forward to it and hope to meet a lot of dance-friends, give you my report asap.

Ok that’s it, going to take a walk. It’s still cold outside but the sun is shining. Spring is coming up J.

XXX’s & OOO’s
Yvonne
(an enthusiastic line dancer, dancing on several locations in Holland, liking to let you know what’s going on here and share my personal dance-experiences with you (if possible in the Monday-newsletter)
